Naomi Layzell (born 29 February 2004)[1] is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Women's Super League club Manchester City,[2] and the England under-23s.[3]
Career
Club
Layzell made her first team debut in the FA Women's League Cup in a 4–0 win over London Bees on 7 October 2020,[4] and made her first appearance in the Women's Super League against Manchester City on 7 November 2020.[5]
On 19 August 2024, Layzell signed for Manchester City on a four-year deal.[2]
International
Layzell has been featured throughout at all youth levels of the England national team set-up.[6] During a training camp attended by the England under-23 and senior squads in February 2024, Layzell was one of the members of the under-23 team who trained with the senior squad.[7][8]
