Wiki Education assignment: LLIB 1115 - Intro to Information Research

This article was the subject of a Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment, between 11 January 2022 and 6 May 2022. Further details are available on the course page. Student editor(s): Hronnie223 (article contribs).

Promoting positive changes in adolescents

I think the section on "Promoting positive changes in adolescents" could've given more information on youth interventions and what types are available. This section focuses on how youth are very susceptible to drug use and peer pressure, but this section should also provide the positive effects of adolescents and programs that can help adolescents. 18:25, 1 October 2024 (UTC)~ Avenkolline (talk) 18:25, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Article Has Been Revised and Updated to Make it More Concise and Accurate.

I left the article with a more up-to-date view of adolescence, I didn't quote the "WHO" because the definition of adolescence adopted by it dates back to the 20th century, but we are already in the 21st century and even with all the scientific discoveries and the international media recognition surrounding these scientific discoveries, the WHO and the UN have not chosen to change their outdated definition of this complex phase of life called "ADOLESCENCE". I therefore believe that we should look at things from angles based on scientifically proven and up-to-date criteria and not from angles that are already outdated and contradict current events. Blog posts and homework help sites are not reliable sources. It is better to stick to high-quality academic sources than to add 'up-to-date' blog fluff. MrOllie (talk) 16:35, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but I think you are mistaken, because the sources cited in the article are organizational sources and scientific articles. If you think that government and organizational sources are unreliable sources and do not comply with Wikipedia's guidelines, you are mistaken. Wiki7Hell (talk) 17:35, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can read the article history just fine, you clearly added blogs and homework help sites. see diff MrOllie (talk) 22:18, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And now you're adding obvious copyright violations. MrOllie (talk) 19:26, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MrOllie Wow, so I can't use scientific articles, nor blog sources, nor any kind of links or reliable sources. You can't copy and paste from anything into Wikipedia, from any source. If you keep doing that I expect you're going to get blocked indefinitely. Abuse of Administration

Dude, what's your problem? You keep reverting my edits, as if your edit were perfect, but if you analyze your edit you will see that it is full of errors, disconnects and impressions, including missing sources in some contexts of your edit, including on the page about "Cognitive Development", in addition to inaccurate information at the beginning of the article where it says that "Some definitions start as early as 10 and end as late as 30." which is not true at all because the maximum age limit for adolescence is 25 years in all scientific articles, and besides, no scientific article defines adolescence as from 10 to 30 years. In "theoretical perspectives" you even mention artificial intelligence, something that has nothing to do with adolescence, there are several paragraphs without any connection and not even connections. Dude, get real, if you think I'm here to fight over edits, you're very wrong, I'm here to help correct the errors and inaccuracies contained in your edit. What you are doing is taking advantage of your administrator power to create inaccurate and decontextualized articles, and in your opinion, that is perfect. It does not seem that as a Wikipedia administrator you are willing to contribute to an accurate, consistent and informative Wikipedia, but rather to create edit disputes. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is becoming an embarrassment because of administrators of this type. Wiki7Hell (talk) 19:53, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
