Googlefight is a simple World Wide Web service that allows users to compare the number of search results returned by the Google search engine for two given queries. The results are displayed graphically in a mixed flash and javascript animation. Two animated stick figures fight on screen after the queries are entered, and then an animated bar graph appears showing the results. The stick figure animation has no impact on the actual results. The results are often used as the subject of various YTMND sites. People often use this for entertainment by saying something is worse than something else, such as Microsoft vs. Google, with Google the winner. As would be expected, the searches with the largest number of results are "www", "the", "a", and "1", each with more than 8,000,000,000 results. Because the internet constantly changes, these numbers change often, and with such close numbers, the lead often changes. As of January 21st "the" is down to around 5,000,000,000.

There is also a Googlefight Dashboard Widget.
