Kasi Lemmons, born in St. Louis on February 24, 1961, is an American film director and actress, notable for her films Eve's Bayou and The Caveman's Valentine.

- Her first name is pronounced like "Casey" — (IPA: /'keɪsi/).
- She is married to actor Vondie Curtis-Hall, also a film director and actor. They have a son together, Henry Hunter Hall
- She had a cameo appearance in Spike Lee's School Daze during a montage of Half-Pint's (Spike Lee) potential conquests.
