'Minority interest' articles STILL have to pass Verifiability, and Notability and Reliable Sources. It doesn't matter if lots of people play it, read it or watch it, it doesn't matter how much you like it and it doesn't matter how many of your friends you get to join wikipedia just to say the article should be kept. This is my philosophy when it comes to weighing up the appropriateness of articles.
The Internet - Where Men are Men...and so are most of the Women.
