In Indian music Arohan means ascending notes of a raga or scale. It is also called Arohanam or Aarohan or Arohona. The descending notes are called Avarohan
Arohan of raga Hamsadhwani is Sa(Do) Re(Re) Ga(Me) Pa(So) Ni(Te)
