Richard Johnson Anglican School commenced in 1997 and is named after the first Anglican clergyman in Australia, the Reverend Richard Johnson. According to the school's website it was founded with the intention to "provide accessible Christian education, emphasising academic excellence and growth in Christian values." Their main priority is the conservation of earth resources.

Richard Johnson Anglican School is a K-12 in Oakhurst. New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation in Australia.

History

Richard Johnson Anglican School commenced in 1997 and is named after the first Anglican clergyman in Australia, the Reverend Richard Johnson. According to the school's website it was founded with the intention to "provide accessible Christian education, emphasising academic excellence and growth in Christian values." Their main priority is the conservation of earth resources. 2007 brought about the completion of a K-12 school.

Grounds and Facilities

Richard Johnson Anglican School is situated on 170 hectares of manicured parklands in the Oakhurst regions. It boasts an enrolment of over 1000 students, and is well known for the excellence of its Science faculty (Which also counts as a member of staff one of Western Sydney's oldest teachers, 89 year old Johnathan Hughes). ]

Richard Johnson Anglican School has excellent sporting facilities, including a Rugby League field, a turf Cricket pitch, a Rugby Union field and an Olympic-Sized swimming pool.
