"Cliff Diving"
Song

Cliff Diving (Spelled "Cliffdiving" on the When Your Heart Stops Beating CD) is the fourth single to be released/leaked by the band +44. Their debut album, "When Your Heart Stops Beating", was released November 14. It starts off fast paced and moves to a moderato verse. The song was released as a 7" single shipped as a bundle with pre-orders of "When Your Heart Stops Beating" in USA. According to the band leader, Mark Hoppus, "Cliff Diving" is the song that resembles the musical style of blink-182 (the band he and +44 drummer Travis Barker were in before the split in 2005) the most on this album.

Meaning of the song

In an interview Mark Hoppus mentioned that the name of the song - Cliff Diving - came from his childhood when his friends used to jump off the roof of a house and into a pool; called "cliff diving" due to the similarity. It was almost the title track to the band's debut album.
