CKKL is a Canadian radio station, which airs at 93.9 on the FM dial in Ottawa. The station uses the on-air brand name Bob FM.

The station was originally launched in 1947 as CFRA-FM, simulcasting the programming of its AM sister station. In 1959, the station began airing some separate programming. Two years later, in 1961, the station's programming became fully independent of CFRA's, and the station adopted the callsign CFMO. CFRA and CFMO were subsequently acquired by CHUM Limited in 1968.

CHUM dropped the station's longtime easy listening format in 1992, adopting the current calls and the brand name Kool FM for its new hot adult contemporary format. The CFMO calls and format were picked up by CHEZ-FM Inc., and adopted on what is now CKBY.

The current Bob FM brand was adopted in May, 2003.

Programming

Bob FM's current programming includes the weekday morning show The Morning After with hosts JR (John Rodenburg) and Sandy Sharkey. [1] Weekday afternoon programming is hosted by Milky; the 'drive home' by Steve Gregory. Evenings are hosted by Vinny White( Overnights are hosted by nobody at the momment Weekends are hosted by Ian March, James Graham and Vinney White. White hosts Studio 93- Bob's New Wave, Glam Jam, Retro Show. He is a graphic designer originally from Brighton England. [2]
