Pull Tiger Tail (Often abbreviated to 'PTT') are an indie rock band based in London and originating from Stratford-upon-Avon; they formed in 2006 while attending Goldsmiths College.
Pull Tiger Tail played their debut gig at London's Tatty Bogle club on February 2 2006.
The band released their debut single, "Animator", on Young and Lost Club Records on 25 September, 2006. Copies were limited to 1000, with 700 vinyls hand-customised by the band.
Tours
They have recently ended a stint on the Topman/NME New Music Tour, 2007 along with The Rumble Strips, The Little Ones , and Blood Red Shoes.
The band have also played with Razorlight, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly., The Blood Arm, The Dykeenies, Mika, Kasabian, We Are Scientists, Of Montreal, To My Boy, The View, The Pigeon Detectives, Hadouken!, Ali Love, I Say Marvin, The Presets, Jack Penate, !!!, The Sunshine Underground, Good Shoes, The Holloways, Forward Russia and Tiny Dancers.

Confusion Surrounding Marcus' Surname
Marcus' great great grandfather was a French Duke named "Ardere" who earned himself a reputation as a leader of men up to and during the First World War - allegedly, his late night parties and playful manner kept general French morale at dizzying heights during those dark times. Because of the prestige surrounding the name "Ardere" since then, all of the Duke's offspring (and his offspring's offspring and so forth) have kept this surname regardless of their legal married name. Allowances have been made with authorities to permit that the family line be allowed extra passports bearing the name Ardere as well as passports bearing their more conventional surname if they inherit a different one by marriage. Marcus, seeing as he has inherited his father's surname of Ratcliffe also has two passports in accordance with the family's wishes, each one bearing a different surname.
