NECCO Factory in Revere, MA

NECCO is an acronym for the New England Confectionery Company. The company was founded as Chase and Company in 1847 by brothers Oliver R. and Silas Edwin Chase. It is the oldest multi-line candy company in the United States.

NECCO now has three manufacturing facilities and employs approximately 1,200 people. Their headquarters is in Revere, Massachusetts. Their other two factories are in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, and Thibodaux, Louisiana. The company factory building in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is now used for labs by Novartis. Annual sales of NECCO's candies garner nearly $100 million.
