Crimson revolves around a young man named Alex Elder who, going out for the night with a group of friends, gets attacked by a gang of Asians who kill everyone save Alex. He is instead bitten by the gang leader and thus turned into a vampire. The series follows Alex as he attempts to adjust to life as a vampire. The comic features not only Asians and vampires, but werewolves and other supernatural elements, as well as Biblical themes.
