Emily Jacir is a Palestinian artist. She was born in Ramallah in 1970. She grew up in Saudi Arabia and attended high school in Italy. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas and her MFA from the Memphis College of Art. Currently, she divides her time between New York and her hometown.
