Hiroshima Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (広島電鉄株式会社, Hiroshima Dentetsu Kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese transportation company based in Hiroshima, Japan.

Hiroshima Electric Railway is called "Hiroden" (広電) for short.

They operate streetcars and buses in and around Hiroshima Prefecture.

Hiroshima Electric Railway was established on June 18, 1910 in Hiroshima.

The company lost many of its employees, most of its streetcars, numerous of its passengers, and buildings from the A-Bomb attack on August 6, 1945.

They have used not only their own streetcars but also other company's streetcars from all over Japan and Europe, the company is called the "Moving Streetcar Museum".

Trams came from Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Fukuoka, Dortmund and Hanover.

The company will accept PASPY, a smart card ticket system, from January, 2008.
