I'm fairly sure you have the wrong user. I changed the offense language in the bar above the picture back to Tom Petty and then I took out "anally raped" from the biography. I also was fixing some vandalism, before the test above his picture read something like "is gay and has lil penis" or soemthing to that effect. There was also another line that read "he's on right now go watch" which while isn't offensive, is kinda pointless, and dosn't belong there. |

X3210, maybe I'm not understanding you correctly. You seem to be objecting to the word "openly" being used for [[Jón Þór Birgisson]], though several sources do indeed use that word to describe him - including an excerpt from The Economist that Sigur Ros has on their own site. :It does not explain why it is not "acceptable". It does not even use the word "acceptable" or "unaccaptable". They are simply guidelines, not set in stone. I find "homosexual" a perfectly acceptable term. Quite clinical, even. If I had to choose between "gay" or "homosexual" as being more inappropriate, I would select "gay". "Gay" means happy. Are we talking about happy people? Homosexual is less ambiguous. (And heaven help anyone who dares refer to me as an LGBT person. Tom Petty
I'm fairly sure you have the wrong user. I changed the offense language in the bar above the picture back to Tom Petty and then I took out "anally raped" from the biography. All I did was go to the page because I wanted to look up how old he was and while I was doing that I decided to correct some immature person's work. I'm sorry for trying to help out Wikipedia. I'll never do that again, especially since there is no chance to be innocent until proven guilty. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.165.0.6 (talk) 01:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Clarify for me?
X3210, maybe I'm not understanding you correctly. You seem to be objecting to the word "openly" being used for Jón Þór Birgisson, though several sources do indeed use that word to describe him - including an excerpt from The Economist that Sigur Ros has on their own site. Why are you objecting to that word? -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 15:14, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
How is it vandalism when all i done was change something to past tense? 2007 is now last year in the majority of the world and the fact that UTC is now in 2008 which Wikipedia uses, the 2007 article should be in past tense. Pathfinder2006 3:17, 1 January 2008
Homosexuals
This is an offensive term now? I think not. —Nricardo (talk) 17:55, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Warning??
Excuse me, but I UNDID the vandalism to the page, so get off my case. And that's all I did was an "UNDO" because someone put something like "Liberal Commie Small Penis" on the page and changed Petty's birthplace to Indiana.
