Help with pictures
Hey, it looks like you got the userbox thing under control, so I will try to help you with pictures. Before we go over the technical stuff, here's some general tips on choosing pictures:

*Be sure that the picture in question is free to use and compatible with Wikipedia's content license, known as GFDL. Generally, the following pictures are all free to use:
**Pictures YOU create YOURSELF (either drawn yourself, or photographs you have taken), except for photographs of other copyright work (for example, taking a photograph of an album cover does not make said album cover your work of art; just a reproduction of the original, and thus NOT free)
**Pictures liscenced under GFDL or other compatible liscences (like some Creative Commons licenses). Many such pictures can be found at sites like Flickr.
**Pictures in the public domain, generally taken to mean that pictures whose copyright has expired (death of creator +70 years). Also, most (but not ALL) works of the U.S. Federal Government is public domain, but this is NOT generally true of the works of other national governments, or of any state government in the U.S. This is because the U.S. Federal Government has expressly declared all of its work to be in the public domain; other such governments are free to do what they choose with the works they own.
*In EXTEMELY LIMITED CASES, generally ONLY in situations where a free work could not be created, one can make a claim of "fair use" of a copyright work. This is ONLY applicaple in the following cases:
**Where the subject of the photograph does not exist anymore (i.e. they are dead, or the object in question has been destroyed).
**Logos of corporate entities may be used alongside critical commentary about that corporation or company.
**Generally, album covers, DVD covers, movie posters, magazine covers, etc. are ONLY covered under this guise if being used to illustrate an article or a section of an article that SPECIFICALLY discusses them. For example, the image of this album cover of the Elvis Costello album My Aim Is True can ONLY be used to illustrate the article on the ALBUM itself, but NOT of any other article, such as Elvis Costello, even though it contains a picture of him. He is a living person, thus someone could take a picture of him today and release it for free use as outlined above.
*Assume that if YOU didn't take the picture, and you don't know what the copyright status is, that the image is copyright and CANNOT be used in wikipedia. Generally, if its just some picture you found on the Internet, its copyright and you can't upload it legally.
WHEW..., that was a lot, but it looks like you keep running into this kind of trouble. Now, as far as uploading and labeling pictures correctly, here is how you do it:
#Click the "Upload file" in the toolbox to the left of the screen
#On the screen that comes up, select the appopriate description of the work.
#It looks like you know HOW to upload a picture, so I will skip the specifics of the uploading itself.
#On the upload screen, under the summary, list the following items:
##Author of image (who created it)
##Source of image (if it is from another website, list the URL specifically where you got it; if you created it yourself, say "self created"
##If the image is NOT free to use (it is copyright by someone else) but you still think that it should be used in Wikipedia, you need a detailed rationale which explains why YOU think that Wikipedia has a right to violate the copyright of the image in question. Generally, you should explain the following: a) The specific article or articles in which you wish to use the image b) You understand the image is copyright c) The image is a low-resolution reproduction of the original d) it would be impossible to recreate an equivalent free version of the image in question e) use of the image in Wikipedia does not limit the rights of the copyright holder f) the use of the image significantly adds to the article in question, and is not replacable by a free image
#Under the license pull-down, select a license that best applies to the work in question.

That should cover what you are doing. If you have any questions about a SPECIFIC image you are having trouble with, let me know about it, and I will have a look-see. Please let me know if this all makes sense to you, and as always, ask me any questions you may have! --Jayron32|<small>talk</small>|<small>contribs</small> 16:18, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

:One more thing, the page Wikipedia:Images contains some general info about using images at Wikipedia. The "see also" section at the bottom contains MANY links to other pages which explain more about what I have outlined above. --Jayron32|<small>talk</small>|<small>contribs</small> 16:20, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi
It wasn't the picture that was a problem, it was the text, much of which seemed to be taken directly from http://www.armypublicschool.com/home.asp and http://www.armypublicschool.com/history.asp. However, someone else has since removed those portions of the article, so everything has been sorted out there. You don't have to do anything any more.Mr Adequate 21:09, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Drass.jpg
Thanks for uploading :Image:Drass.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

* Wikipedia:Image copyright tags

Fair use rationale for :Image:Th NB3.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to :Image:Th NB3.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-no fair use rationale-notice --> NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 17:29, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Apsdk.jpg
Thank you for uploading :Image:Apsdk.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. VegitaU 15:24, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

You adoptor checking in
Hey, I hadn't heard from you in a week or so, so I thought I would check in with you, seeing as I adopted you last week. How are things going? Are you having any more trouble you need sorting out? Need any help with anything? Remember, my talk page is always open, drop me a line. I usually check in at least every day or so. Anything to help... --Jayron32|<small>talk</small>|<small>contribs</small> 02:01, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading :Image:Dallake.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name :Image:Dallake12.jpg. The copy called Image:Dallake12.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. ==Fair use rationale for :Image:Th_NB3.jpg==

Thanks for uploading or contributing to :Image:Th_NB3.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
