This is a list of Roman Catholic Seminaries in the world, including those that have been closed. This list is a work-in-progress.

St. John Home Mission Seminary (Little Rock) - Diocesan seminary; operated from 1930 to 1967.

Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary (Denver) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1996.
St. John Vianney Seminary (Denver) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1999.
St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary (Denver) - Run by the Congregation of the Mission; operated from 1907 to 1995.

Holy Apostles Seminary (Cromwell) - Diocesan seminary; opened in 1960. Formerly run by the Missionaries of the Holy Apostles.
St. John Fisher Seminary Residence (Stamford) - Diocesan seminary; opened in 1989.

Dominican House of Studies - Run by the Dominican Friars; opened in 1905.
Sulpician Seminary & Theological College - Run by the Society of St. Sulpice; opened in 1917.
Washington Theological Union - Sponsored by seven religious communities; opened in 1968.

St. Stephen Minor Seminary (Honolulu) - Diocesan seminary; operated from 1948 to 1976.

St. Thomas Minor Seminary (Louisville) - Archdiocesan seminary; operated from 1952 to 1970.

Mount St. Mary Seminary (Emmitsburg) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1808.
St. Charles Seminary (Catonsville) - Archdiocesan seminary; operated from 1848 to 1977.
St. Mary Seminary (Baltimore) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1791.

St. John Seminary (Boston) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1884.
[Bl. John XXIII National Seminary] (Boston) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1964.

St. John Provincial Seminary (Plymouth) - Archdiocesan seminary; operated from 1949 to 1988.

Conception Seminary College (Conception) - Run by the Benedictine Monks; opened in 1886.
Precious Blood Minor Seminary (Liberty) - Run by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood; operated form 1963 to 1983.

Capuchin Theological Seminary (Garrison) - Run by the Capuchin Friars; closed in 1972.
Eymard Seminary (Suffern) - Run by the Fathers of the Blessed Sacrament; closed in 1966.
Loyola Jesuit Seminary (Shrub Oak) - Run by the Jesuit Fathers; operated from 1955 to 1973.
Mount Alvernia Seminary (Beacon) - Run by the Franciscan Order of Friars Minor; operated from 1950 to 1967.
Our Lady of Hope Mission Seminary (Newburgh) - Run by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate; operated from 1946 to 1971.
Salesian Seminary (Goshen) - Run by the Salesians of Don Bosco; operated from 1925 to 1985.
St. Albert Junior Seminary (Middletown) - Run by the Carmelites; closed by 1991.
St. Alphonsus Seminary (Esopus) - Run by the Redemptionist Fathers; operated from 1907 to 1985.
St. Andrew-on-Hudson Seminary (Hyde Park) - Run by the Society of Jesus; closed in 1969.
St. Joseph Seraphic Seminary (Callicoon) - Run by the Franciscan Order of Friar Minors; operated from 1901 to 1968.
St. Pius X Seminary (Garrison) - Run by the Franciscan Friars of Atonement; closed in 1969.
St. Charles Seminary (Staten Island) - Run by the Missionaries of St. Charles Borromeo; operated from 1948 to 1966.
St. Francis Seminary (Staten Island) - Run by the Franciscan Order of Friar Conventuals; closed by 1997.
St. Joseph Seminary (Dunwoodie) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1896.
Wadhams Hall Seminary College (Odgensburg) - Diocesan seminary; operated from 1924 to 2002.

Precious Blood Seminary (Carthagena) - Run by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood; operated from 1922 to 1969.
Pontifical College Josephinum (Columbus) - International seminary of Pontifical status; opened in 1888.

Mount Angel Abbey and Seminary (St. Benedict) - Run by the Order of Saint Benedict.

Mary Immaculate Seminary (Allentown) - Run by the Vincentian Fathers; operated from 1939 to 1990.
St. Charles Borromeo Seminary (Philadelphia) - Archdiocesan seminary; opened in 1832. The current Theological Building was completed in 1871.

St. Edward Seminary (Kenmore) - Diocesan seminary; operated from 1930 to 1976.
St. Thomas the Apostle Seminary (Kenmore) - Diocesan seminary; operated from 1958 to 1977.
Bishop White Seminary (Spokane) - Diocesan Seminary (currently open).
