Bal Ram Nanda is an eminent writer from India. He has written the biographies of Jawaharlal Nehru and Gopal Krishna Gokhale, among several other books.
He was also a senior railway officer and the first Director of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, New Delhi.
He was awarded Padma Vibhushan award in 2003.
