Mansar is a town in Attock District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.
Geography
Mansar is located at 33° 54' 10N, 72° 18' 38E and has an average elevation of 278 metres (915 feet)[1]. It is about 18km north of Attock city near the Grand Trunk Road.
Army
There is also a regimental centre of the Pakistan Army known as A.K Regimental Center[citation needed].
Demographics
Mansar has a population of about 5000. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Mansar has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 61%. In Mansar, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age[citation needed].
Schools
There are two government Middle school for boys and girls in Mansar, as well as four private schools. The F.G High School and Army Public College (APSACS) is also present in cantonment area.

The Shrines of the Sufi saint "Sin Kalo Baba"(حضرت سائں کلو بابا) revered for his piety and his disciple "Sayyad Anwar Shah"(حضرت سید انور شاہ) are also present in Mansar. Their is also a tomb of a disciple of Sayyad Anwar Shah, named "Bhai Mohammad Alam"(بھائی محمد عالم).
