Hi, this is my talk page (me being KojiDude). Feel free to leave me a message if you want, as long as you follow a couple rules. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. "Rules? Wtf? Why should I waste my time reading your rules when I can just leave a message?" Well, because if you break any of these the entire comment you made will be deleted, because I can do that (I think).
- The number one rule would be no personal attacks please. If I have pissed you off in any way, or reverted any edits you made, I was probably just following Wikipedia policy and got mixed up. Even if I didn't have a legitmit reason to anger you, you still shouldn't insult me, just report me ;).
- Please sign your posts. It's very disruptive and against policy not to. Just type: --~~~~ after your comments.
- Please don't edit your comments after making them, unless you're fixing a typo. It grinds my gears when you do that.
- Don't vandalize. It can and will get you blocked
- Don't troll . Seriously, no good comes out of it. All you'll get is a {{subst:test2-n}} on your talk page.
- Don't be a dick

Send me an E-mail sometime or I'll drop by your forum lol. I've been really busy finishing up quarter finals so I haven't been on as much either. Glad to see you back again. RFA Thanks
Thank you for your comments on my RFA. Even though it failed with 28 supports, 42 opposes, and 15 neutrals, I am grateful for the suggestions and advice I have received and I do hope to improve as a Wikipedian. If you ever need my help in any endeavor, feel free to drop me a line. --Sharkface217 20:08, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Power Rangers: Jungle Fury, you will be blocked from editing. --KojiDude (Contributions) 03:57, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

RfA comment
Since the RfA has finished, I will comment here. In response to "Isn't it more important that he knew the pages met the speedy delete criteria than it is that he knew which template to use? And, if he becomes an admin, he won't need to use those templates anymore.", you need to give a reason to delete an article. Not knowing which criteria in which to delete an article is extremely problematic as, if he does not know the SD criteria, it can cause major problems with the accuracy of his deletions. Furthermore, most of the examples I listed shouldn't have been deleted under any criteria. —Dark talk 04:22, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
thank spam
"Page does exist"?
Not really, since it was redirected. Koji, I think you should quickly undo your edit to Talk:Android (Dragon Ball) because the template said to use {{hangon}} (see here). Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 01:35, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- It says to use hang on only if you created the article yourself. Pages that have been redirected have to keep their talk pages. Like, for example, Canner. It's to keep a record of the discussion that took place.--KojiDude (Contributions) 01:37, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, ok. Thanks for finally clearing that up. I'll keep it in mind from here on. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 01:45, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, now that I think about it, I think because the talk page doesn't have any significant content that it should be deleted (I didn't read it over before I removed the tag, so I didn't know it was just one sentence. lol). I'll put the tag back up.--KojiDude (Contributions) 18:45, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Whatever seems best. Oh, I left a response back here. Did you read it? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 21:17, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Boo
Would you have any spare time on your hands? I ask because I'd like to get the Majin Buu, Djinn Boo, etc., redirects fixed, and two heads are better than one. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 05:00, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I'll be off to bed soon, though.--KojiDude (Contributions) 05:02, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- Did a bunch of the redirects, but look at what links to "Majin Buu". Can you get to these? I have some watchlist hunting to do. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 20:19, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- What name did the subtitles give for "Uub"? I'm guessing it was "Oob"? Takuthehedgehog and I do not know. Please reply on your talk page, Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 03:55, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well all I can say is take Taku's advice. I don't have any references (none reliable at least) to give. I would assume, if they made it Boo, they would have to make it Oob, for continuity purposes. I would just go ahead and change it, but I guess it'd be better to find a source.--KojiDude (Contributions) 04:00, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

RfA thanks
Thanks for supporting my recent request for adminship which was successful with 89 supports, 0 opposes, and 2 neutrals. Unfortunately all I can offer is this lame text thanks rather than some fancy-smancy thank-you spam template thingy. I was very pleased to receive such strong support and to hear so many nice comments from editors whom I respect. I’ll do my best with the tools, and if you ever see me going astray don’t hesitate to drop a note on my talk page. Thanks again for your support!--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 01:39, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Lady Aleena's RfA
KojiDude...Thank you for supporting my nomination for adminship. Through it I have become aware of a great many people who can help me in my future editing endeavors. Even though I was not promoted, your support shows that I still have something to contribute to Wikipedia, even if it is minor edits to fix spelling and grammar to working in WikiProjects to help others make great articles. If you wish to further discuss the nomination, please use its talk page. Stop by my talk page anytime, even if it is just to say hello. Have a wonderful day! - LA @ 04:19, 30 April 2008 (UTC) |

New Project
Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 02:41, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well, getting my editcount up is a good thing, I suppose, but it is already over 11,000. I just can't figure out the best way to get the word about the project out. I'm just going to revert my reversions and then think about it some more. Useight (talk) 03:45, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Re-numbering q's
Yeah, I thought about that, but didn't do it in case there were any references to them by their original numbering. (Which there weren't in the RfA, but I can't really be sure of that on pages outside the RfA). Splash - tk 00:49, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ah. Sorry. I've done that before, but I usually just type in the question #'s into the Ctrl-F thing, which only takes a minute or so. I didn't mean to come off rude in the edit summary, I was just kidding around.--KojiDude (Contributions) 00:52, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Naw, no worries, just thought I should explain what might have looked like laziness! Splash - tk 00:55, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
My respect for you just increased significantly.
And yes, it should be DHMO :) dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 02:56, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I guess. :D That's actually a very comforting thing to hear (not just the part about the respect).--KojiDude (Contributions) 03:02, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was wondering why quite a few people had made the same typo! dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 03:12, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
"Every RFA deserves a support vote" Oh? What if Osama Bin Laden was running in an RfA? What then?
I meant this in a way that every honest person with good intentions deserves a Moral support with advice. If Osama Bin Laden were to have an RFA with a history I would support. CWii(Talk|Contribs) 00:59, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Rfb participation thanks
Hello, Koji.
I wanted to personally thank you for taking part in the project-wide discussions regarding my candidacy for bureaucratship. After bureaucratic discussion, the bureaucrats decided that there was sufficient significant and varied opposition to my candidacy, and thus no consensus to promote, in other words, "heck no :( " Although personally disappointed, I both understand and respect their decision, especially in light of historical conservatism the project has had when selecting its bureaucrats. If you have any further suggestions or comments as to how you think I could help the project, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your support. -- Avi (talk) 17:15, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Friendly notice
Friendly notice to let you know that things like this can come off as insulting. Antelantalk 02:00, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- When I said confusing or inconveinient, I meant that someone will come along and see a 100 S, 30O or labeled as 75%. People wouldn't understand, they'd try to fix it not knowing the N's count in, everyone would have to get used to it all over again, etc. I wasn't insulting you, I was trying to note a plothole in your idea. That's what talk pages are for.--Koji†Dude (C) 02:04, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, that explains "confusing", which never bothered me. Based on your comment above, where your summary of the idea made it clear that you had misunderstood it, I could tell that some would find it confusing. What bothered me is that you lined up a list of antonyms that you thought *could* describe my idea, and then twice negated the word I actually used ("I don't think interesting fits there. Maybe confusing, inconvenient, or unnecessary... but not interesting"). Did it get across the impression that you don't like the idea? Yes, loud and clear. Was it constructive or helpful? No. Antelantalk 02:16, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- I thought it was constructive in saying that most people don't consider things that are confusing/misleading to be interesting, something which hadn't been brought up yet.--Koji†Dude (C) 02:22, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- The point is that just because it confuses one doesn't mean that it is confusing or misleading in general. Antelantalk 02:25, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, and in general, 75% of 100 is 75.--Koji†Dude (C) 02:30, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- True, but completely off-topic. What are you getting at? Antelantalk 02:33, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- The hypothetical situation I proposed in my initial reply. Sorry, I'm a very unspecific person. I get it from my mother.--Koji†Dude (C) 02:35, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- OK. From your reply, it was clear that you were responding to a suggestion saying "Let's show %support and %oppose." Your response to such a suggestion was, rightly, to joke about how the math was trivial. The only problem is that my proposal wasn't that - it was "Let's change the way we display %support, and then add a %oppose column because the old 100%-support%=oppose% wouldn't work anymore." Antelantalk 02:39, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hm. Ok. I think I see what happened. I was assuming we were still discussing the idea of having N's count against the S%. Sorry about that.--Koji†Dude (C) 02:43, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- No worries. Thanks for being willing to discuss it. Antelantalk 03:11, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
