Mick Barnard was a guitarist in the band Farm. He was hired as a temporary replacement with Genesis after the departure of Anthony Phillips. He was in the band from September 1970 to December 1970, when they hired Steve Hackett as Phillips' permanent replacement. He appeared with the band on what is thought to be their eariest TV appearance on a programme called Disco 2, but this footage is now thought to be lost.
