The company began to commercially offer Simdesk direct to small business in March of 2006. There were several Simdesk resellers including [1] KDDI in Japan.
On May 1 2008 Simdesk ceased operations, including termination of retail hosted services for SMB and individual customers in the US and Latin America. Externally hosted services based on Simdesk's platform license will remain in place. Future direction has not been announced.
