I've seen that some people think that the school was founded 20 or 45 years ago and that efforts have been made back and forth to change this. Hopefully this should stop here. The box on the side of the article states that the school was founded as Hillside High School ~1960's (real date not known). Having seen the Grad photos on the walls myself, I can safely say that the school was around at least during the 1960's. Also I know several people that went to the school more than 20 years ago. The box on the side of the article states that the school was founded as Hillside High School ~1960's (real date not known). Having seen the Grad photos on the walls myself, I can safely say that the school was around at least during the 1960's. Also I know several people that went to the school more than 20 years ago. I believe the school opened in 1962. I attended as a grade 8 in 1964 and believe there had been two (or maybe three) years before us. We were the first class to attend Sentinel for all five years before graduation (in 1969). |
