Muhammadun rasulullah is an Islamic Arabic term literally meaning "Muhammad is the messenger of Allah." Muslims believe that Muhammad is the last and final prophet and messenger of God to mankind. This statement is the second part of the shahada, which is the first pillar of Islam. The first part of the shahada is la ilaha illallah, which means "There is no god worthy of worship except Allah."
