The CGR has a branch that serves Alabama Power Farley Nuclear Power Plant.

At Hilton, Georgia the CGR connects with the Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad (CIRR) and Norfolk Southern's line to Albany, Georgia. The CGR also interchanges with CSX and the Bay Line Railroad at Dothan, Alabama.
