Jangpur is a Cheema village in Ludhiana District in Punjab (India). It has a population of approximately 2400 people, most of whom are engaged in agricultural work. The village is located approximately eighteen kilometres southwest of Ludhiana, and two kilometres from Grand Trunk Road. It has a religious place known as "Baba Booreh Shah". Every year during the last week of September or first week of October there is a big fair to memorize the Baba Booreh Shah. Baba Booreh Shah was a Muslim, and he died long time ago, however the peoples of village are still praying him.
