Tag suggestion

Hiya, Cameron. I saw the back-and-forth at Psylocke and thought this might be something you could use: the multiple-issues tag at Wikipedia:Template_messages/Cleanup#Tag_consolidation. Hope it helps. Best, --Tenebrae (talk) 20:05, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alright!

It's finally over. Most damn stressful AfD I've ever been involved in. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 07:14, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alibhai Brown/Libertarian Alliance - I Repeat

You did not reply to my question so I will ask it again.

You stated in responce to my adding to the Yasmin Alibhai-Brown entry a ref by the Cambridge University Conservative Association that, "It's just the same references again - get a reliable source - the BBC, the guardian, the times, the independent, the economist etc etc)".

No it is not. It is the Cambridge University Conservative Association whose President is The Rt. Hon. Michael Howard Q.C., M.P. and former leader of the opposition. The discussion took place on the BBC World Service and was recorded and republished word for word on the Libertarian Alliance website. How can anyone provide a reference for this from one of those papers if those papers did not write about it? More to the point why should they? The vast majority of references on wikipedia do not come straight from a newspaper. I am of the opinion that you simply do not wish Alibhai-Browns speech on the BBC program to be included here, full stop, and will do anything to insure it is not included. Now, tell me what references, apart from newspapers would suffice for you?

Hi, Cameron

Sorry for the double post, it was hard to get my head round it with my kiddo screaming down at me. Didn't realise it will be saved twice when I modified.

Merci for saving me :). —Preceding unsigned comment added by DianneMiller (talkcontribs) 14:29, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Miss Tourism World

I agree with what you removed, but perhaps there is some more material suitable for removal. I don't see how the multiple award in 07 can be justified on the basis of just the primary source, unless one can find a secondary source that has commented on it. I am also not sure of the material on the organizer's financial troubles in Africa. Myself, I'm thinking of stubbifying and protecting the article. As for the picture, perhaps it can be used with a small change in the caption--It seems a good idea to have some illustration for this. But take a look at the copyright statement for it first. I ask your opinion--this is considerably a change of subject for me, and I dodnt want to be the one supervising the article. DGG (talk) 21:41, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
