Sven Erik Jørgensen (b. August 29th, 1934 in Copenhagen) is an ecologist and chemist. He currently works for the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy in the department of Analytical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, in the Environmental Chemistry division. He is a professor emeritus in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

Sven Erik Jørgensen was awarded the Stockholm Water Prize in 2004 together with Professor William J. Mitsch.
