Jerry Crasnick (Born May 24th, 1958) is a sports writer, currently covering baseball for the sports website ESPN.com, under their Insider Section. [1] He began his career in 1988 as a beat writer for The Cincinnati Post where he covered Pete Rose and the Cincinnati Reds. He has worked for the Denver Post and Bloomberg News, while also writing for The Sporting News, and Baseball America.[2]
