Paul Leeman (born January 21 1978, Belfast, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish footballer. He currently plays for Glentoran F.C.
Playing career
After playing for Dungoyne Boys, Leeman joined Glentoran as a schoolboy in 1993. Two years later he made his 1st team debut. Initially playing in midfield and at right back, he switched to centre-back.. Leeman missed almost all of the 2005-06 season with a shoulder injury but has not been serously injured since. He is the Glentoran club captain. Paul has won every major honour in Irish League Football with Glentoran and played over 500 games for the East Belfast Club, while also scoring 39 goals, the most important of which was the winner in the Irish Cup Final against Linfield.
He brought his children out with him to lift the Irish Premier League trophy after Glentoran had beaten Cliftonville to see off the challenge of Linfield who had beaten Crusaders 5-0 at Seaview. He had his testamonial against Roy Keane's Ipswich Town, but they lost 3-1.
