I know the Dictionary of Canadian Biography calls it Fort Mcleod (and this article says the same, almost word for word, something I plan on changing) but the only fort of that name I'm familiar with is ''East'' of the Rockies in South-West Alberta (Just South of Calgary). Could a more knowledgable Wikipedian enlighten me about this supposed other Fort Mcleod? --[[User:Zytsef|Zytsef]] 08:55, 11 December 2005 (UTC) |

:Nevermind, it appears that Fraser did indeed found Trout Lake Fort which was later renamed Fort McLeod. By Jove, if it's good enough for Encyclopædia Britannica: http://cache.britannica.com/ebc/article-9013128 --[[User:Zytsef|Zytsef]] 09:14, 11 December 2005 (UTC) |
