John "Jack" Anthony (born 19 January 1988) is a Collingwood Magpies footballer in the Australian Football League. Anthony was Drafted by the Collingwood Magpies (rank #37) In the 2005 National Draft. Anthony was a defender from Diamond Creek in northern Melbourne but now plays full forward for Collingwood Football Club. He was recruited from the Northern Knights U18 club. When he first came into the club he was thought of a potential Full-back for the Collingwood Magpies but has become a regular in attack.

2007

Anthony suffered a horrific neck injury during the 2007 pre-season but made a successful return to football in 2008.

2008

He debuted in Round 3 in 2008 booting two goals, before being dropped back to the VFL the following week. He returned to the Collingwood side in Round 14, keeping his spot in the side for the rest of the season. He kicked 25 goals for the season and scored at an accuracy of 81% - the highest percentage of any player in the competition with 25 or more goals.
