Play On is the third studio album from American country artist Carrie Underwood. It will be released in the United States on November 3, 2009. The first single, "Cowboy Casanova", was released to country radio on September 14, 2009.[1]

Background

The album is named after the song Play On. It was reported that Carrie had been working with R&B singer Ne-Yo but she is not sure if the song that they wrote will make it to the album, stating that she's "not sure if it fits within the context of the rest of the album." [2]
