Blitar is a city and also the capital of the regency of the same name on East Java, Indonesia, about 73 kilometers from Malang and 167 kilometers from Surabaya. The area longitude is between 111° 40' - 112° 09' East and its latitude is 8° 06' South. Kelud is only one active mountain located on the north of Blitar. Blitar has some temples from Majapahit kingdom, such as Penataran and Simping. The city is noted as the location of the grave of Sukarno, the first President of Indonesia, five kilometers from the city plaza.
