Calderys is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Imerys, its French multinational parent company, and the world leader in monolithic refractories.
History
Calderys was only recently formed by a merger of Plibrico (a subsidiary of the Imerys group) and Lafarge Refractories in 2005. Due to both companies having a longstanding history in the refractory business, Calderys has been able to tap into over 100 years of experience—which makes their technological expertise, innovative concepts, and ability to provide exemplary services to their customers second to none.[1]
Operations
Calderys offers complete refractory solutions to a broad range of industrial sectors. The company supplies the most comprehensive supply of monolithic products for the following markets: iron and steel, foundry, aluminum, cement, incineration, thermal, and petrochemistry. Calderys produces over 600,000 tons of monolithic materials and generates 500M € annually. Its global network extends across over 30 countries in every continents and includes over 2,000 employees, 18 production sites, and 30 sales offices. [1]
