Account Status

This would seem to be an odd sort of arbitrator's sock. Privatemusings (talk) 23:16, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sockmaster

Is this account controlled and operated by a single Arbitrator, or by more than one? What is/are the name(s)? DuncanHill (talk) 15:22, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Contacting Arbcom

The admin who deleted the userpage suggested contacting Arbcom. They have been contacted, and apart from an indication by one Arb that this is may be a role account operated by all Arbs, no straightforward answer has been received. DuncanHill (talk) 22:41, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

let's be civil

I see my reply to Duncan was reverted, the rather embarrassing 'welcome' was restored, and Hersfold (for it is he) suggested in his edit summary that I was being less than civil. It's possible he considered my saying the folk behind this account 'were being gigantic boobs' was uncivil - I don't really think it is, and I think Hersfold was being a gigantic boob in summarily reverting my post, and deleting the userpage - usually an elephant in a room doesn't fit well under a carpet ;-) Privatemusings (talk) 22:59, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ps. to my mind, this is now quite clearly a 'discussion internal to the project' - isn't there some ruling or other related to using sock accounts in such contexts? Privatemusings (talk) 23:16, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
