During his career, Westwood has DJed for many radio stations from pirate stations, the newly formed pirate stations Kiss FM (which he co-owned) and LWR, followed by mainstream stations Capital FM and currently BBC Radio 1. He also organises frequent live Radio 1 Rap Shows.
Westwood is heavily involved in the rap scene and is noted to be one of the early broadcasters and promoters of rap music. He is one of the few white rap DJ's and has a moral stance that makes many priests look like pimps. He doesn't drink or do drugs, and doesn't play gigs during exam times.
Westwood has also released numerous rap compilation albums.
