Some tweaks have been made to support characters for more strategic uses like combo jutsus and countering hits from an opponent. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, known in Japan as Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Storm 2 (ＮＡＲＵＴＯ－ナルト－ 疾風伝ナルティメットストーム2) is the upcoming sequel to Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Namco Bandai Games. Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Storm 2 was officially announced on December 21, 2009 by Namco Bandai Games at a Jump Festa event. V Jump magazine revealed the game a few days beforehand.[1][4] As CyberConnect2's first multi-platform project, they worked closely with Microsoft.[5]
