Protest: Tip.

I agree. This bully (it's not abusive, you are a bully, if you disagree, please explain why you aren't instead of banning people) banned me for me making an edit to my user page when I was logged out. I need to make changes to it, but could not log in as I was at work. Why the user page of some unknown user such as myself was such a big concern was beyond me. Telling him and his fellows bullies to leave me alone was perceived as vandalism and harassment. [[User:James1906|James1906]] ([[User talk:James1906|talk]]) 16:49, 20 February 2010 (UTC)james1906

:Just a friendly tip for the next time you want to edit your user page anonymously. Leave an edit summary explaining your actions. That way vandalism patrollers won't immediately flag it as suspicious. Otherwise it just looks like more IP vandalism. Article Unprotection Request

Hello. See this link please. I've created the stub here as suggested by Boghog2. Could you unprotect the article for me now so I can update it? Thanks in advance! el3ctr0nika (Talk | Contribs) 01:53, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously?? Last.fm isn't a good enough source? Same with Discogs.com? Maor Levi is no question a notable trance musician, let me assure you of that. Just check the Google and YouTube results for his name and aliases as examples. Also note that he has a lot more productions than what I listed on his page as there were too many to include.
Here, see this link -- it's his iTunes profile. Also see this link -- it's an Anjunabeats album featuring one of his productions ("Shapes" - Disc 2 - Track 1). Check here as well -- an interview with him by InlineDJ.com (read this article if you want to see just how 'notable' he is). Those references should be credible enough.. and if not, really, I don't know what will satisfy you.
There are countless lesser-known electronic producers like Maor who put out great music but are relatively unknown and by no means mainstream (trance itself isn't even that mainstream.. say "Deadmau5", currently one of the top five DJs in the world (according to TheDJList at least), and most people won't know who you're talking about); hence, the scarcity of references. Regardless, they shouldn't be excluded from Wikipedia simply because of this, and personally, I think the references I've provided (including the three in this very message which I can add to my stub if necessary) are more than enough to validate his authenticity. Please reconsider your decision. el3ctr0nika (Talk | Contribs) 21:02, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Edit: I've updated my stub a little bit and included the interview in the references. el3ctr0nika (Talk | Contribs) 21:20, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Alright thank you! I'll look into those routes. el3ctr0nika (Talk | Contribs) 23:17, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

15:27, July 1, 2008 Cobaltbluetony (talk | contribs) deleted "Ekotopfilm" ‎ (A1: Not enough context to identify subject)

I created new page with ekotopfilm. I would like to ask what can I do for activation of our festival ekotopfilm (between Documentary film festivals, List of film festivals in Europe, Festivals in Slovakia, etc).

Maybe I did some mistakes, because I am beginner on the wikipedia. But I would like to inform all about our festival.

Thank you for your comments and help.

Ivy Page

Hi Cobaltbluetony!

Could you help me with the Ivy Page poet page. I received your note, and understand that I need input from others, however I did try and offer only facts. I would appreciate any drafting help to avoid deletion!

All the best, Ivylpage (talk) 17:52, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

I appreciate all of your help!

hey

Couldn't you wait for other peoples input first?

There are many human rights organizations listed here: [1]

Many of them stubs like: Association Mauritanienne des Droits de l'Homme, Timidria, Home for Human Rights etc. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 20:25, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

could you restore al-Marsad to my userspace please? nableezy - 20:44, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. The article is now here. CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:52, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. There are some 3rd-party sources out there that reference the org, enough for a decent stub. I think that because this was speedied it wouldnt qualify for A10 once some 3rd-party sources that attest to the notability of the organization are added, but could you tell me if I am wrong? And if I am should I ask you before I move it to the mainspace? nableezy - 20:56, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Proper references are all that keep any article from deletion! You don't need my permission; if you want my take on it once you're ready to push it back into the main space, I'll gladly give it to you -- if I'm available. But don't wait for me; if it looks good to you, give it a whirl! Cheers and happy editing! CobaltBlueTony™ talk 21:01, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Take care, nableezy - 21:09, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Look good enough now? nableezy - 21:46, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Protest

I am carrying my questions over from Jpgordon's talk page:

Cobaltbluetony, you seem like the typical abusive administrator. "There are no 'rights' on Wikipedia"? Excuse me? What is the following?

Are those not "user rights"? Please tell me if I am mistaken. Back to the beginning of the story, how were my messages "disruptive"? As I said on my original talk page, I was merely "gifting users with new messages". Please explain how you find this disruptive. The last three words of your message just sets me off. Who do you think you are? "End of story"? You are not the highest level of authority here on Wikipedia. God help you if I appeal this to Jimbo Wales.

Secondly, why are you answering for Josh Gordon? He is supposedly an "Administrator,Checkuser, Oversight and ex-Arbitrator". He can talk for himself. Pity on him if he is dependent on others and cannot fare for himself. If you consider blocking me for "personal attacks," think twice. The above contains no personal attacks. Hiineedrequestforcomment (talk) 22:54, 18 February 2010 (UTC) Please halt all further discussion ad interim. Hiineedrequestforcomment (talk) 20:18, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
