Speedy deletion nomination of We have band

A tag has been placed on We have band requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Notability

Hi Jonusbaum, all articles require some indication that the subject is notable. Wikipedia is not Myspace or a blog, so we try to avoid articles on unknown garage bands, new schoolyard games made up at recess, unremarkable one-man web businesses, and the like. Please look over Wikipedia:Notability (music), especially the section "Criteria for musicians and ensembles." To be kept, an article about a band should indicate how the band might possibly meet those criteria. Advice

I see you are having trouble with the infobox. You can't paste the box from the French wiki because the name of the template and fields are different. You should use Template:Infobox musical artist instead. Anna Lincoln 10:43, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
