Efron is an Ashkenazi Jewish surname.[1] It is taken from the Biblical place name, Efron, and is also the Hebrew word for the bird lark.[2] It is the surname of:
- Bradley Efron (born 1938), American statistician

- Zac Efron (born 1987), American actor and singer
