The Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club is a Monacan football club, founded in 1924. They became a professional club after 1948. Although the club is in Monaco, it has always competed in the French football structure.

Monaco beat Chelsea FC in both legs of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in 2004. Monaco lost 0:3 against FC Porto in the CL final 2004.
