Thanks!!
Thanks for all your help in the Dixie Truckers Home AfD! I think it will probably survive once more people chime in. I remember stopping there in the 80s on family vacations... that big section with all the semi-truck accessories is awesome. Burpelson AFB (talk) 21:49, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to Chicago City Hall. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Some helpful advice
Don't let the trolls get to you. You've made a lot of progress here and Wikipedia can't really afford to let people with personal agendas drive off good contributors. Just know that tagging accounts like you've been doing is one of the quickest ways to make revenge seekers and angry cretins living in mommy's basement target you as an "enemy". Personally, I'd suggest leaving that to other people and focusing on your writing, which seems to be going pretty well. Good job on the National Historic Places stuff, keep it up! Burpelson AFB (talk) 21:47, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you. I believe I am quite done tagging sock pages. :( Kindzmarauli (talk) 04:53, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
OSS Logo deletion
Can I ask why you believe these "OSS Society" guys? What have they provided you by way of evidence that they own the copyright to that image, beyong having it on their own website? That logo was taken directly from CIA.gov, which clearly states that everything there is in the public domain, unless it is otherwise marked with a copyright notice. I ever took a screenshot to prove this [:http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:CIAscreenshot.JPG], and as you can see, CIA.gov presents this as their image, without a copyright notice to "OSS Society" or anyone else. This OSS Society probaqbly want to keep the logo off of Wikipedia because they use it on books and videos which they market "for profit". However, I believe their claim of copyright is fraudulent. Kindzmarauli (talk) 16:43, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- It's also openly used on this website [1], this website about an OSS documentary [2], and as a cover image on this book [3]. Kindzmarauli (talk) 16:59, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- There has been a very long email discussion about it on OTRS and we are satisfied that it is not in fact a CIA-created logo. Stifle (talk) 17:53, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
OSS patch
Hey, just so you know: I moved the OSS patch you uploaded to Commons. I hope this won't cause any problems... I just noticed the discussion above but since that file was deleted I can't compare it to this one. I'm just assuming it's not the same one. Happy Monday! Burpelson AFB (talk) 23:19, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I saw your screen grab. I think we're fine. Burpelson AFB (talk) 23:21, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, that is fine. I meant to upload to Commons myself but accidentally uploaded it here instead. Kindzmarauli (talk) 05:01, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
$100 Bill
I Never said the $100 Bill was discontinued in 1971. I said the $100 United States Note was. Look at this for confirmation. United States Note User:OttomanJackson —Preceding undated comment added 14:15, 8 August 2010 (UTC).
- My apologies for the misunderstanding regarding bills vs notes. At the same time, however, you did upload a couple of images that you said you had created yourself that are actually common images all over the internet. In any case, I do wish you the best of happy editing here and thank you for your contributions. Kindzmarauli (talk) 05:20, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
History help
{{adminhelp}}
I happened across the article Black president (really a disambiguation list) and looked at the edit history. It struck me as odd because the very first edit listed in the history is a page move. See history: [4]. I was just wondering if someone did a copy-paste move at some point or otherwise broke it and lost the previous history? There must have been an edit history before the move was performed. It may need to be restored. Kindzmarauli (talk) 19:21, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- It took me a few seconds to figure what happened to this page, but the following seems to have happened:
- On January, 17th 2009 the Black president page was originally created.
- On January, 19th 2009 the page was moved to Black_president_(United_States).
- On January, 25th 2009 the page was again moved (and merged) due to GDFL concerns, and subsequently userfied to User:ChildofMidnight/Black_president where it still resides to this day. Note that the origional page at Black_president_(United_States) was deleted trough an AFD which is why it contains no history.
- After the page was moved on the 19th, the Black president was changed into a disambiguation page which listed several black presidents.
- The deleted "Black president (United States)" page was recreated at the 31th, first as a redirect to barrack obama, and afterwards to the Black president page.
- To summarize, it is quite a mess of page moves, deletions and renames, but i believe that it meets the GDFL due to the preservation of the original edits. The Black president page was be seen as a new page that doesn't rely on the earlier moved page (Which is still intact). I hope this answers the question :). Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 19:37, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, it was even more complicated than I thought! I had not even considered the GFDL, I was just confused as to how an article's first edit could be a page move. But your explanation is very helpful, thank you! Kindzmarauli (talk) 05:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

AfD
Hi Kindzmarauli, Wikipedia bureaucracy can be a maze of daunting rules, regulations, and policy, and I'm just wondering if you know about WP:BLPPROD, and WP:BEFORE. If not, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page and I'll be happy to explain them, because they are quite useful if you are doing New Page Patrol, for example. or coming across unreferenced articles. Regards, --Kudpung (talk) 10:25, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks!
For making the moves. RomaC TALK 07:47, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks also for your support in my RfA, which was closed as successful. It seems today is your day to be thanked ;-) Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 15:36, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- You are both very welcome! Nikkimaria, you will be a good admin. RomaC, I'm happy everything worked out for the best. Happy Tuesday! Kindzmarauli (talk) 16:48, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks x3
Thanks for your confidence in me but you couldn't pay me enough to be a sysop here! Burpelson AFB (talk) 01:11, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
