Jorge Altamira is the pseudonym of José Saúl Wermus (b. 1942, Buenos Aires), main leader of the Workers' Party in Argentina.
He is also one of the nine people on the Co-ordinating Committee for the Refoundation of the Fourth International.
Altamira was a Buenos Aires city councillor from 2000 to 2004. He has also stood for President and National Deputy a few times.
