Airone Caribbean(AVL) is a startup airline based at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados. The airline will feature a fleet of McDonald Douglas MD-80 aircraft. It is the Caribbean's first low cost carrier.

Initially the airline sought to startup operations from Kingston's Norman Manley International Airport, however, the airline shifted it's hub to Barbados after being denied permission to set up in Jamaica by the Jamaican Government.

Operations are scheduled to begin on December 1st 2010, to Trinidad and Jamaica from Barbados, and is expected to be competition for Trinidad and Tobago based Caribbean Airlines and Antigua based LIAT.
