International Medical Group (IMG), is a conglomerate of health-related businesses, headquartered in Kampala, Uganda. IMG is the leading provider of private medical services in Uganda.[1]
History
IMG was founded by Dr. Ian Clarke, a physician, missionary, philanthropist and businessman, who was born and educated in Northern Ireland, but has resided in Uganda since 1988. The first company in the group, International Hospital Kampala was established in 1996. [2]

The member companies of IMG include:
- International Hospital Kampala (IHK) - 200 bed state-of-the-art tertiary care hospital
- International Health Sciences University (IHSU) - Began classes in 2008[3]
- International Air Ambulance (IAA)
- International Medical Foundation (IMF)
- Microcare Insurance Limited[4]
A school of tropical medicine and a school of medicine are planned in 2011 and 2014 respectively. These medical programs utilize IMG's own network of facilities, including a fully equipped hospital, countrywide clinics, a medical insurance company and rescue/evacuation by road and air ambulance.
