Tewar, sometimes referred to as Tiaur or Teur , is a village [1] in the Mohali District (previously Rupnagar District) of the state of Punjab, India. The population is about 3000, according to the 2001 Census. The village is situated a few kilometers east on Kharar-Kurali stretch of NH 21. Tewar is the central village among neighbouring villages viz. Radiala , Bhajauli , Ghataur , Palheri , Rurkee kham, in surrounding region. It has a good market having Medical Stores, Apparel stores and general shops. Shiv Kumar is residing in Tewar has general store at his home
