Atarisoft was a brand name used by Atari in 1983 and 1984 to market video games they published for home systems made from their competitors. IBM PC DOS games were sold in blue packaging so they could be identified with IBM due to its "Big Blue" nickname, games for the Apple were sold in red.

The Atarisoft label does not bear the popular logo (called "Fuji") that Atari has, and the letters from its label, although in capital like Atari, are significantly wider and different then Atari's (they were written in a font that is now popularly called Univers Black). Atarisoft was a brand mainly used on game boxes and manuals because the name that appeared on the bottom of the title screen of these games was often the name of Atari and not Atarisoft. The label died when Warner Communications sold Atari to Jack Tramiel.
