Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents is a documentary/reality television series, first aired in early 2011 as part of the Dangerous Pleasures season on BBC Three. Parents secretly keep tabs on their teenage offspring's summer holidays following them on their first girls/lads holidays abroad for up to a week. Throughout the programme, parents get extremely close to their sons/daughters whilst being hidden away watching their every move on video screens, they are often in stockrooms of nightclubs or in minivans following their children.

Series 1 (2011)

Series 1 first aired on BBC Three on 4 January 2011 having being filmed throughout the summer season of 2010.

Episode 1 – Malia

The first episode follows Joe Major and Millie Butler, both 18 years old and on a holiday to Malia with their respective groups of friends. Joe's holiday ends with one of this friends undergoing an operation in a local hospital after a fight the previous night. Where Joe and Millie met in a nightclub with their parents watching.

Episode 2 – Ibiza

Episode 2 features Rob Watson and Hollie Hutton escaping with their friends to the party island of Ibiza. Rob's parents reveal themselves to Rob and his friends in a strip bar.

Episode 3 – Ayia Napa

David Canning and Greg Salmon with their groups of friends travel to Ayia Napa.

Episode 4 – Kavos

18-year-old party girls and lifelong friends Becky and Chelsea from Nottingham are about to head off on their first parent-free holiday to celebrate the end of their A-levels. With their mates in tow they're off to Kavos in Corfu for what they hope will be holiday to remember.

Episode 5 – Zante

On the Greek island of Zante, shy and sheltered James takes his first holiday away from his self-confessed over-protective parents and party girl Jenn celebrates the end of her A-levels before she heads off to university.

Episode 6 – Magaluf

In the final trip of the series Kiran and Rhys hit Magaluf, while their parents secretly look on.

Episode 7 – "After the Holiday"

The final episode of the series caught up with everyone who featured in the show. It was first aired two days after the Magaluf episode, on 10 February 2011.[1]
