Revision as of 15:07, 14 July 2011
The 129th Ohio General Assembly is the current legislative body of the state of Ohio for 2010 and 2011. While Ted Strickland was Ohio Governor for the first week of the biennium, John Kasich was sworn in during the second week. The apportionment of districts is based on the 2000 United States Census, and will be the last General Assembly before redistricting for the 2010 United States Census. While the Ohio Senate was retained by the Ohio Republican Party, they won control of the Ohio House of Representatives from the Ohio Democratic Party.
